Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on the 26th of May 1978 at Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997) are three of her most acclaimed films. Ana Paula Oliveira became a membre of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March 2020. Her current role is analyst responsible for the Assassination Witness project, and is an integral member of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement team. Her focus is on the illegal economics, assassinations, and disappearances. Her main research areas are the influence of criminal organizations on human rights and the humanitarian legal and political. Ana Paula has an LL.M. with a laude cum (with honors) from the field of International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She also holds the LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations through Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree with a magna cumlaude distinction in Legal and Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her experience as a lawyer has included four years of practicing at a firm that specializes in litigation involving public law. She also has held variety of assisting positions at and non-government organisations in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
